Growing with Good Shepherd
Annie and Liz recently shared their experience at Good Shepherd with us. These moms have been friends since they were college roommates, and they get to experience something very special together now that they are moms: They get to watch their boys grow up together at GSS!
Good Shepherd has been a pillar of the Harrisonburg community since 1992, providing support to countless mothers as they return to work. Annie and Liz, already familiar with our reputation, chose GSS for their children’s daycare needs. Their visit only confirmed what they already knew — GSS is a place where children thrive.
Annie and Liz love seeing their sons interact with each other and their classmates. They can tell that the boys are not just learning, but are actually enjoying the learning process together. Liz describes, “At Good Shepherd, I felt like my children are very loved, and I also felt like I have a voice.” This is the result of the commitment to the solid academic and spiritual foundation provided by GSS.
Over the years, they’ve also formed meaningful relationships with their sons’ teachers, feeling like part of the extended GSS family. They value open communication and feel comfortable sharing feedback with us, which we greatly value at GSS. We're grateful for families like Annie's and Liz's who entrust us with their children's education. It's a privilege to be part of their journey and to watch these boys grow up together.
