Infant Care
Ages 6 Weeks to 15 Months
At Good Shepherd School and Day Care we provide a “Home away from Home” for your infant. We train our infant caregivers to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. Our caregivers will sing to, read to, and interact with your baby throughout the day to provide the best care possible!
You will receive a daily report about when your child ate, slept, and was changed. The next step is the Toddler Class!
Toddler Class
Ages 16 to 24 months
Your child is growing and learning about their world! In the Toddler Class, they will learn and play and be lovingly cared for by our trained teachers. Here they will get their first introduction to letters and numbers, shapes and colors, and a world of other things.
You will receive a daily report about when your child ate, slept, and was changed. The next step is the Discovery Class!
2 Year Old Day Care
The Discovery Class
With a structured but relaxed schedule, this class is just right for two year olds. In a warm, nurturing atmosphere, we work on letters and numbers and potty training to help children continue a great preschool experience.
When your child turns 3 years old, he or she will move to the Beginner Class.
3 – 5 Year Old Day Care
The Beginner Class
This class is for all new students age three and above. We make learning fun with games and incentives while children begin learning letters and numbers and many other preschool educational skills.
When children learn the phonetic sounds of the alphabet and are fully potty-trained, they move to the Advanced Class.
The Advanced Class
Once students have mastered the sounds of the letters of the alphabet and are fully potty-trained, they move to the Advanced Class where they put the letters together to begin forming words.
Many Advanced Class students learn how to read before going to kindergarten!
The Advanced Class is only the beginning of your child’s Good Shepherd education. We have a Kindergarten through 12th Grade School that will give your child the academic foundation that will help him or her succeed and become a life long learner!
Wherever your child attends grade school, you will find that the Good Shepherd foundation you have given them will have prepared them well to succeed!
