Meeting the Needs of Parents, Too!
While Good Shepherd strives to provide students with quality care, a solid academic foundation, and a loving environment, it is more than just the needs of the children in our care that matters to us. We hope that our pursuit of this threefold goal is a blessing to parents as well!
Recently, the Eggleston family shared how Good Shepherd has provided for their needs as parents. They describe how it feels to know their children are in the “second best place,” somewhere they are loved, where they can bond with their caretakers. They described the comfort of being able to leave their children in this type of environment.
The Egglestons were looking for a place where their values would be supported, and where their children would be prepared for school. As each of their children attended GSS, they were pleased to see these needs met as well. They shared stories of their children reading before kindergarten and memorizing the Lord’s Prayer as examples. It is a blessing to us at Good Shepherd to hear parent’s testimony that their children are experiencing the love of Christ. Whether it is through our engagement with our students, our instruction of them, or our care for the whole family, that is our ultimate goal!
