Nurturing Young Minds Through Music
Let’s talk about the power of music! Learning music from a young age can do wonders for emotional and intellectual growth. It helps kids build social skills, express their emotions, think critically, and feel proud of their achievements. Plus, science shows that music education speeds up brain development in areas related to sound processing, language, and reading. We're thrilled to have talented and passionate teachers like Deborah, who bring the joy of music to Good Shepherd.
Five years ago, Deborah took a career leap when she applied to work at Good Shepherd and she hasn't looked back since. Our family-like community creates a space where where every day we can encourage and lift each other up through our shared love of Christ.
One of Deborah’s favorite parts of her job is watching her students grow up at Good Shepherd, graduate, and become compassionate and responsible citizens, guided by Christian values.
Looking to the future, Deborah hopes to grow the music department and expand the three year old classroom, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to embrace their creativity and develop a love for music.
Music is an integral part of the human experience, and we are proud to offer a wide array of educational experiences for our students that expose them to activities supporting every type of learning.
